Agents: Is investing in Zillow leads still worth your money?

Agents ask me all the time if Zillow leads are worth their investment dollars. Over the past five years, there has been an 800% increase in internet leads. The only problem is that there aren’t eight times as many buyers nowadays. That means the quality of internet leads has become watered down. Additionally, the prices for leads have been growing astronomically. So now that things have changed so drastically, are Zillow leads still a worthy investment?

Thank’s for the analysis, Chris. I used Zillow leads for a brief time when I started up just to get the ball rolling and deals under the belt. It accomplished that purpose. I transitioned away from them as the Zillow cut was too much to sustain long-term. Focus on providing high quality service, nurture referrals from your sphere. Keep in regular contact with past clients. Employ farming & prospecting strategies to expand your reach and business. A solid long term solution where your efforts comes back to you rather than to the Zillow corporation and it’s goals.
